Maryland State Police 14th Annual - Polar Bear Plunge

What a day! We had the esteemed pleasure of providing coffee service to all of the Super Plungers at this year's Polar Bear Plunge. Without hesitation we can honestly say that these people are some of the most devoted and compassionate people that we have ever had the privilege of knowing. You might say that they are a little insane too.

For 24 hours straight, these people took a leap into the frigid water of the Chesapeake Bay every hour on the hour in order to raise much needed funding in support of Special Olympics Maryland. The real Champions who drive us all to dig deep within ourselves and give with all of our hearts are the athletes of the Special Olympics Team. They make it all worth while and remind us to be humbled in the face of adversity.

We would like to extend a special thank you out Tom Schniedwind and the entire staff over with Special Olympics Maryland. They warmly embraced our involvement and could not have been more helpful when it came down assisting us with coordination and set up. We just wish that Mother Nature would have been as equally accommodating.

Boy, did we get handed a wild weather day...

Retro retail product launch. Does the container coffee is sold in really matter?Eco-Reef Blend

On Thursday, November 19th, 2009 we unveiled our new specialty retail line while hosting a GREENDRINKS social at our building.

The event was great fun and even though the weather was a bit uncooperative we still had a great turn out. We served up samples of coffees from different growing regions of the world to all of the Green Drinks attendees as well as gave away a complimentary product sample to all that participated.

We will be sending out email updates to all of the attendees on where they can find our coffees for sale in hopes of gaining more and more of everyone's valuable support.

Stay tuned for more exciting coffee news and events. 2010 is going to be a great year!

Thanks to all of you who made it out. You guys Rock!!
