Roast profile

Colombia Chinchiná

Colombia Chinchiná is from a cooperative of several farms in the Caldas region of Colombia. The production of this coffee aims to serve the people surrounding the farms, supporting those without proper facilities and limited resources. Buying and selling coffees from multiple farms and producers allows them help with receiving higher prices and develops long-term relationships. Each producer sets forth their own farming, but all the coffees are washed, fermented and dried on raised  beds with canopies for 30 days.

We were happy to procure this coffee through our friends at Café Tío Conejo, a local, direct trade, Colombian coffee broker located in Rockville Maryland.
